“Shark fin” dumpling (made with pork or chicken)
Pork bun

Dim Sum Bistro is one of my favorite dim sum spot in San Francisco! Their pork buns are gigantic and full of flavor! The filling is slightly on the sweeter side. The combination of the saltiness from the pork with the sweet sauce tucked in a pillowy flour bun makes it a great snack! Their shrimp dumpling has a good amount of shrimp in it. The pork dumpling is made with ground pork and shrimp and is another classic dim sum item you’ll love. Their chives dumpling has full of onion like flavor, which is great if you are into onions and chives. Though the flavor may come off as too strong for some people, this shows the quality of ingredients they use in their dumplings. Shrimp cutlet is unique, with pieces of meat and veggies mixed together and then wrapped in eggs and then pan fried. Shark fin dumpling is actually made with either pork or chicken, wood ear mushroom, and glass noodles, which gives the dumpling a crunchy texture.
Overall Score: a five out of five! A locals favorite and great for tourists too!
