Brisbane Lunch Truck

Brisbane Lunch Truck serves modern American comfort food while impacting the environment as little as possible. Check out their story on their “About Us” page.

This lunch truck serves classic American food with a twist and is on Yelp’s 100 best food trucks.  I love the outdoor seating and they have water bowls for dogs as well.  The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Here is a breakdown of the food we ordered:

1. Bacon, lettuce, tomatoes sandwich: Comes with house made chips.  Tasted like it sounds – salty bacon with the crisp of lettuce and sweetness of tomatoes. The difference is that they have some kind of homemade spread in the sandwich. Nothing spectacular.  Chips tasted like gourmet potatoe chips, meaning something you slice and fry at home.   Ingredients are good, but nothing special about the taste. Definitely not something I would pay $17.50 for.

2. Strawberry, banana smoothie: I do like that they use organic strawberries for this.  Though the taste is average. Nothing spectacular but if you want fresh fruits and are into organic fruits, then this drink would do

3. Lemon Meringue bar:  The lemon flavor in the bar really stands out and the cream helps balance out some of the sweetness.

4. Organic Strawberry Soda:  This is a unique drink since I never came across organic strawberry soda before. Again, nothing special.

             Rating: 3 out of 5

The food has good quality ingredients, though it lacks on flavor. I would come by if I’m in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way for.
