Supreme Pot vs. Seapot Hot Pot

Supreme Pot head to head against Seapot Hot Pot

The two neighborhood AYCE hot pot spots located in Daly City/Colma, CA. Which one tastes better? Which one gets you the most bang for your buck?   

Supreme Pot: Sauce bar has a wide selection, but has very minimal appetizers, which includes peanuts, craw fish, and edamame beans. The selection of meats were limited to chicken, fish, squid, prawns, beef slices, pork, and intestines. They have a great selection of veggies including spinach, bok-choy, pumpkin, corn, and mushrooms. They have white rice and noodle options as well. Overall, the food is mediocre at best. This spot is good for a decent meal and perfect for solo dining, small, or large groups.

Seapot Hot Pot: The sauce bar has about the same amount of selection, however their appetizers were plentiful compared to Supreme Pot. Appetizers include different kinds of kim-chi, sliced daikons, lettuce wraps, peanuts, spring rolls. Their meat selection includes different varieties of beef and pork, chicken, prawns, squid. Veggies includes Napa cabbage, spinach, bok-choy, corn, mushrooms.

Overall:  the verdict goes to Seapot for a better hot pot spot due to wider selection and better quality of meat. 

 If you get a chance and are around the neighborhood, stop by both and see which one you prefer!
